How to Measure
Getting accurate measurements is key to finding your perfect fit. For best results, ask a friend to help and use a soft measuring tape. Wear light clothing or undergarments similar to what you’ll wear with your dress.
1. Height
Stand straight with your feet together and measure barefoot from the top of your head to the floor.
2. Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your bust.
Keep the tape level across your back and do not pull too tight.
Tip: Wear a non-padded bra for the most accurate result.
3. Waist
Measure around your natural waistline—the narrowest part of your torso, typically about 1 inch above your belly button.
Keep the tape comfortably loose so you can breathe naturally.
4. Hips
Measure around the fullest part of your hips, usually about 7 inches below your natural waist.
Make sure the tape is parallel to the floor.
5. Hollow to Floor
Stand straight with bare feet together.
Measure from the hollow (the dip between your collarbones) straight down to the floor.
Note: This measurement does not include shoe height.
6. Shoulder Width
Measure from the outer edge of one shoulder to the other, across the base of your neck.
7. Arm Length
Measure from the top of your shoulder down to your wrist.
Keep your arm slightly bent for a natural fit.
8. Sleeve Length
Measure from the shoulder seam down to your desired sleeve length.
Slightly bend your arm if measuring on yourself.
9. Upper Arm
Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm.
10. Forearm
Measure around the fullest part of your forearm, just below the elbow.
